Andy Carroll Makes Anfield Debut

Andy Carroll, the most expensive English player in league history, has made his Liverpool debut, just over one month after being purchased from Newcastle. In the 74th minute, the striker came on, his direct touch coming seconds later when he snapped a header on goal from 17 yards out. Edwin Van der Sar easily caught the shot, but Carroll had still portended his impact.

Is this the time?

Most anticipated news on the day certainly is Andy Carroll, whom in appearance-fit in to be played on Sunday's clash versus Manchester United. If he is on the bench, he's almost certainly play a part within the last minutes, unless we are being tonked or simply rendering an individual and even therefore he previously possibly get a go out. If Liverpool need a goal, he's just the right person, and if we're keeping an important contribute he's got people who can contain the sphere in place.
