International Career

Carroll received his first call up to the England U-21 squad on 5 August 2009 and made his debut on 11 August 2009 against Netherland. He scored his first and second goals on his second U-21 match on 9 October 2009 against Macedonia U-21s.

Looking at his performance in Newcastle United jersey or England U-21, many suggesting England manager, Fabio Capello, to call him into England senior squad. Yet, until now he received no call. But after his winning header against Arsenal in Emirates Stadium - Arsenal's homeground - in a match being watch by Capello himself, he might get his long awaited phonecall.
